Recent concerts include a collaboration at WBMC with West Bridgford Social Singers performing songs together from 'Les Mis' and Queen. We boarded the singing train to Cromford and had a fantastic day!
Concerts
April 25th WBMC with Camden Voices 7pm
May 16th St Barnabas with Jelly 7.30pm
June 13th Annual concert at WBMC
Rehearsals
We attract 70 singers each week and have a nice balance between a warm-up, songs we know well, new songs and a very short break. Lou leads a pre-rehearsal with altos and Mike works with the men from 7.15-7.45pm. The full rehearsal starts at 7.45pm.
Social
We have three social events, one in each term, at restaurants and bars. We have an annual residential trip. This year it's Bakewell again and last year Retford. We also performed on the singing train to Cromford in May 2019.
Uniform
Our choir have smart short sleeved blouses/shirts and optional fleeces and coats.
So we are enjoying ourselves and getting better and better!
